Yoga for back pain
  


If you want results with any back injury you must exercise regularly. If you are not willing to do this then you are probably not going to improve much. The first rule of healing almost any back pain is mild exercise.

If you wake with back pain the next day do not be put off. You may have just aggravated the affected area a little. Try to figure out which exercise may have caused more back pain and modify it or eliminate it from your daily exercise routine. This is just a simple foundation for you to build on. You want to include spinal twists into your daily workout if it is possible.

Back Pain

This yoga pose is called Tadasana. You can greatly reduce back pain with this yoga pose. It sounds like a joke but it's not.

Try to keep your spine straight like the yoga pose shows. Imagine a fountain of energy lifting you up through the top of the head. Is it straight as you read this?

Bad posture causes or worsens back pain. Learn to perform good posture in every action or when simply sitting or standing.

Better body mechanics and awareness really helps take pressure away form your back.

Please miss out anything that gives too much back pain. Have the common sense to modify parts of the sequence. Remember a little back pain is good. Judge how far you move into a posture by the intensity of pain signals. Do the exercises everyday when you wake up and before you go to bed.
