Bhujangasana (10 to 12 breaths)

Breathing is faster in this posture because the lungs are restricted. Be aware of this and try to remove all strain from around the heart.

Push the tailbone in and legs together.

Try rolling the shoulders around and adjusting their positioning so that the heart has as much room as possible.

Take the hands away from the body a little more if your back feels strained. The positioning of the hands is related to the flexibility of your spine. If the spine is inflexible then take the hands further from the body.

When we consider the heart we are also considering the physiological body, the second layer of the koshas, and a major part of the element of water.
