Uttanasana

Forward bends can really help you loosen tight hamstrings which can be the cause of lower back pain.

The problem is that many times forward bends can cause more back pain as the push the discs back into the nerves.

This variation shows support with the hands to relieve too much pressure on the discs.

Work on finding a light boundary. More than likely one hamstring is tighter than the other.

Wait in the pose until they both lengthen evenly.

Try placing the hand higher than shown as this is deep.
